Age Group:
18-70 years old
Approach to Treatment:
My approach to treating is person-centered, where I meet the client where they are at, using motivational interviewing and the stages of change to do this. I utilize an integrative approach, working from a psychodynamic, attachment-style, and trauma-informed lens. I believe in looking not only at the current symptoms, but where the symptoms are stemming from, because they are merely manifestations of a deeper issue. Providing symptom relief alone, is not enough to help a patient in the long-run. Therefore, I aim to work on the root issues, and not just put a band-aid on the presenting problems.
