Dr. Seplow earned his medical degree from Des Moines University. He completed a year-long
internship in general medicine and a four-year residency in general psychiatry. He has been
practicing clinical psychiatry for almost 20 years, largely focusing on pharmacotherapy for
people with severe and persistent mental illness. In recent years he has been specializing in
providing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), primarily for people with treatment-
resistant-depression, anxious-depression, and OCD. At Complete Mind Care, Dr. Seplow wears
many hats, with administrative and supervisory roles as well as ongoing clinical work. He is
board certified in general psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
